Responsibilities
- Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada digital platforms, including audio/video players.
- Develop and coordinate front-end features for the OTT platform powering CBC Gem and ICI Tou.TV.
- Ensure application quality, standards compliance, and performance under high loads.
- Participate in user-story development, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, deployments, and Agile Scrum production reviews.
- Stay current with digital development trends and proactively propose solutions to technical challenges.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing complex, high-performance mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Android Studio, Git, and Kotlin.
- Experience publishing an application on Google Play.
- Experience working with code reviews and pull requests.
- Knowledge of programming patterns such as MVP or MVVM and ability to work with software architecture diagrams.
- Mandatory written and spoken English-French bilingualism.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, teamwork, initiative, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
