Responsibilities
- Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada digital platforms, including audio/video player components.
- Ensure product quality, standards compliance, and strong performance under high loads.
- Participate in Agile Scrum activities, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, deployments, and solution delivery.
- Develop user stories, propose solutions to technical challenges, and contribute to application corrections and adjustments.
- Support products across mobile, tablet, and TV form factors.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing complex, high-performance mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Android Studio, Git, and Kotlin.
- Experience developing an application published on Google Play.
- Experience working with code reviews and pull requests.
- Knowledge of programming patterns such as MVP or MVVM and ability to read, produce, and follow software architecture diagrams.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, teamwork, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Mandatory written and spoken bilingualism in English and French.
