Responsibilities
- Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada digital platforms, including audio/video players.
- Develop and coordinate front-end features with product owners, architects, and technical managers.
- Ensure product quality, standards compliance, application performance, and high-load readiness.
- Participate in user story development, sprint planning, retrospectives, Agile Scrum reviews, code reviews, and deployments.
- Propose solutions to technical challenges and stay current with digital development trends.
- Support applications across mobile, tablet, and TV form factors.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing complex, high-performance mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Xcode, Git, and Swift.
- Experience developing an application published on the App Store.
- Experience working with code reviews and pull requests.
- Knowledge of MVC, MVP, or MVVM programming patterns and the ability to read, produce, and follow software architecture diagrams.
- Knowledge of SwiftUI and Combine.
- Bilingual English and French communication skills, spoken and written, are mandatory.
- Knowledge of SOLID principles, AVPlayer, CoreData, AlamoFire, CocoaPods, audio-video streaming, design patterns, or other programming languages is an asset.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, teamwork, organizational, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
