Responsibilities

Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada digital platforms, including audio/video player components.
Develop and maintain complex, high-performance iOS applications for products available on mobile, tablet, and TV form factors.
Ensure application performance under high loads and maintain product quality and compliance with development standards.
Participate in Agile Scrum activities, sprint planning, retrospectives, user-story development, code reviews, and application deployments.
Propose solutions to technical challenges and stay informed about trends in digital development.
Work closely with product owners, architects, and technical managers to coordinate technical delivery of requested features.

A university degree or equivalent experience.
At least 3 years of software development experience.
Experience developing complex and high-performance mobile applications.
Proficiency with Xcode, Git, and Swift.
Experience developing an application published on the App Store.
Experience working with code reviews and pull requests.
Knowledge of MVC, MVP, or MVVM programming patterns.
Ability to read, produce, and follow software architecture diagrams such as UML and sequence diagrams.
Knowledge of SwiftUI and Combine.
Knowledge of AVPlayer, CoreData, Alamofire, and CocoaPods, including designing or maintaining internal pods, is an asset.
Knowledge of web audio-video streaming, additional programming languages, SOLID principles, and design patterns is an asset.
Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, teamwork, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual written and spoken English and French is mandatory.
Candidates may be required to complete skills and knowledge testing and a criminal record check.

12-month full-time contract position, renewable annually, with CBC/Radio-Canada employee benefits.
