Responsibilities
- Design and modify reusable components for CBC/Radio-Canada digital platforms, including audio/video players.
- Develop and maintain complex, high-performance iOS applications for mobile, tablet, and TV form factors.
- Ensure product quality, standards compliance, application performance, and support for high loads.
- Participate in user story development, sprint planning, retrospectives, code reviews, deployments, and Agile Scrum production reviews.
- Proactively identify challenges, propose solutions, and stay current with digital development trends.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience.
- Experience developing complex, high-performance mobile applications and applications published on the App Store.
- Proficiency with Xcode, Git, and Swift.
- Experience working with code reviews and pull requests.
- Knowledge of programming patterns such as MVC, MVP, or MVVM.
- Ability to read, produce, and follow software architecture diagrams, including UML and sequence diagrams.
- Knowledge of SwiftUI and Combine; knowledge of AVPlayer, CoreData, AlamoFire, CocoaPods, streaming, SOLID principles, and design patterns is an asset.
- Bilingual English and French proficiency, spoken and written, is mandatory.
- Strong communication, analytical thinking, initiative, flexibility, independence, resourcefulness, and priority-setting skills.
