Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and develop full-stack .NET and WPF applications.
- Build and maintain software using C#, WPF/XAML, Web APIs, LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL.
- Develop well-factored, optimized, unit-tested, and reliable code.
- Monitor and improve C# and SQL performance.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues reported from production environments.
- Work on software products using SOA or microservices architecture styles.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders and an international team.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience developing software using .NET and WPF.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, WPF/XAML, Web APIs, LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL.
- Experience with at least one SOA or microservices architecture-style software product.
- Strong understanding of UML, object-oriented programming, object-oriented design principles, and software development best practices.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in software development.
- Preferred: 2 years of hands-on WPF development experience or equivalent proficiency.
- Preferred: familiarity with Scrum, Kanban, and scaled Agile environments.
- Preferred: experience with Test-Driven Development or Acceptance Test-Driven Development, with FitNesse or Postman familiarity as a plus.
- Preferred: exposure to developing and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a dynamic international team environment.
