Responsibilities
- Perform BAU fixes and development projects on the Payment Switch.
- Provide Level 3 production support and proactively improve production support systems.
- Support SIT and UAT for Payment Switch-related projects.
- Create and review implementation plans.
- Deploy code to production.
- Analyze bi-annual compliance mandates.
- Coordinate system-related activities with technology teams.
- Define technical designs and approaches, develop reusable platforms and solutions, and apply performance tuning and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience working with a Payment Switch.
- Strong domain and product knowledge of Payment Switch systems and the card payments industry.
- Deep C expertise on AIX, POSIX IPC, and AIX kernel internals.
- Experience with Linux systems programming, POSIX, GCC/Clang, Valgrind/ASan, multiprocess architecture, network programming, sockets, epoll, and ISO 8583.
- ACI NETX familiarity is preferred.
- POS experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention solutions such as Falcon Fraud Manager is preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English at an advanced-intermediate level.
- Agile development experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
