Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deliver scalable software systems for global payment and fintech use cases.
- Lead backend engineering efforts for distributed payment systems using Java, Kotlin, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit.
- Own services end to end, including infrastructure automation and continuous deployment.
- Define and execute unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing strategies.
- Apply secure coding, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Domain-Driven Design to produce high-quality software.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues across multi-region distributed platforms.
- Establish operational excellence through on-call standards, reliability engineering, and observability practices.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing and delivering software systems in complex business domains at global scale, particularly fintech or payments.
- Deep backend engineering expertise, preferably with distributed systems.
- Hands-on mastery of Java, Kotlin, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JUnit.
- Strong ownership mindset with interest in automation, CI/CD, and reliability.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, curiosity, and creativity when addressing complex challenges.
- High standards for software quality, performance, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
