Base Salary
$115k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain enterprise development tools, software configuration management processes, and automation infrastructure.
- Automate build, packaging, testing, deployment, patching, and release processes across multiple products and initiatives.
- Implement and support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines and deployment orchestration.
- Deploy, scale, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain resilient, secure, and high-availability SaaS application platforms.
- Configure lower-level and production environments, deploy applications and artifacts, and ensure environment reproducibility.
- Support development teams, collaborate with developers to release new features, and guide teams on DevOps best practices.
- Coordinate infrastructure requirements, deployment planning, release schedules, and issue resolution with leadership and architecture stakeholders.
- Incorporate testing automation at component, configuration item, subsystem, and system levels and monitor results.
- Manage cross-functional requirements and work with Engineering, Product, Services, Operations, QA, and Delivery teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of related experience, including enterprise software configuration management, application stack deployment and support, and participation in software project life cycles.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience deploying and monitoring cloud-based applications in Azure or AWS, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery, Jenkins, collaborative version control systems, configuration management tools, virtualization technologies, and cloud and container solutions.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Subversion, Bitbucket, Chef, Ansible, Puppet, Amazon EC2, Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, and Swarm.
- Knowledge of Java and Python deployment constructs for web and thick-client applications and experience using Perl or Python for automation tooling.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, code repository management, software release automation, Agile software development, and Enterprise Oracle Database deployments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, organizational, collaboration, adaptability, and confidential-information handling skills.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic matrix organization with remote team members across the US, India, and other geographies.
- Ability to provide a dedicated secure work area, high-speed internet connectivity, and an office setup suitable for remote work.
