Responsibilities

Operate, support, and continuously improve primarily on-premise IT infrastructure.
Administer Linux-based systems, Kubernetes clusters, and middleware components.
Implement and maintain automation solutions using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
Design and operate monitoring and logging systems such as Grafana and Icinga.
Contribute to optimizing LAN, WAN, routing, and firewall architectures.
Collaborate closely with architecture teams to maintain stable and scalable platforms.
Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure high availability.
Operate, troubleshoot, and analyze the performance of complex systems.

Several years of experience in systems operations, including Linux, Kubernetes, and security.
Strong networking knowledge covering LAN, WAN, routing, and firewalls.
Strong practical automation experience with Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, scripting, and Python.
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices; Terraform or OpenTofu knowledge is an advantage.
Knowledge of ITIL processes, including incident and problem management.
Willingness to use documentation and collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira.
Active German language skills at minimum B2 level and professional English communication skills.
Knowledge of Helm, Kustomize, or GitOps-based approaches is advantageous.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure is advantageous.
Knowledge of Web Application Firewall solutions, REST APIs, and Oracle database administration is advantageous.
