Responsibilities
- Design and oversee secure, robust, and scalable Salesforce architectures and solutions across multiple client engagements.
- Lead design workshops, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and advise clients and internal stakeholders.
- Provide architectural guidance, technical assurance, escalation support, and oversight across complex Salesforce projects.
- Lead technical delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle and ensure solutions meet scope, quality, and timeline expectations.
- Oversee development, integrations, testing, deployment, defect resolution, architecture reviews, solution reviews, and code reviews.
- Define and improve technical standards, architectural patterns, development practices, and governance across the Salesforce practice.
- Support technical resource planning, presales, discovery, solution shaping, estimation, and technical responses for opportunities.
- Advise on Salesforce platform strategy, roadmap discussions, and adoption of new Salesforce technologies and capabilities.
- Manage and mentor Architects, Technical Leads, and Developers, including coaching, feedback, performance support, and career development.
- Support recruitment, progression, succession planning, project handover, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions, including significant experience as a Solution Architect or equivalent senior technical professional.
- Strong experience leading the architecture and technical delivery of complex Salesforce implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platforms, cloud solutions, architecture, development best practices, and project delivery methodologies.
- Experience with LWC, Apex, triggers, Flow, asynchronous processing, and data migration approaches.
- Experience designing Salesforce integrations using Salesforce APIs, web services, Salesforce Connect, MuleSoft, and other middleware technologies.
- Extensive knowledge of Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality and the ability to balance configuration, custom development, and integration.
- Strong understanding of source control, CI/CD, deployment processes, development standards, and technical governance.
- Experience supporting presales, technical discovery, solution shaping, and estimation for Salesforce opportunities.
- Significant experience leading technical teams across the software development lifecycle and overseeing multiple projects.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, people management, analytical problem-solving, and technical direction skills.
- Multiple Salesforce certifications are preferred, with architecture-focused certifications highly desirable.
