Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the Android application.
- Contribute to platform-level Android development and architecture.
- Solve product and engineering problems pragmatically.
- Help inform product design and direction.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and partner teams.
- Mentor or guide junior engineers.
- Develop and maintain mobile testing and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of mobile app development experience, including at least 2 years building and shipping production Android apps.
- At least 3 years of experience in a startup environment.
- Strong Kotlin skills and experience with Jetpack Compose and MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Experience building consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Proficiency with protobufs, REST, and gRPC.
- Experience integrating Firebase Authentication, Firestore or Realtime Database, and Cloud Messaging.
- Proficiency with Android unit, instrumentation, and UI testing and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers.
- A strong university background.
Benefits
- Base salary of $160,000 to $200,000 annually.

- On-site role in San Francisco, California; Seattle-based candidates may also be considered.
