Responsibilities
- Develop C and Assembly applications for 8-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers.
- Perform firmware architecture, design, coding, and firmware-hardware co-development.
- Work with microcontroller peripherals including DMA, ADC, I2C, and SPI.
- Lead development efforts for assigned project modules and deliver within committed timelines.
- Collaborate with multi-site cross-functional teams and stakeholders to solve problems.
- Apply design and development standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Support unit testing, integration testing, and frontend test automation.
- Contribute as an individual contributor and lead a team or project as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant industry experience in firmware design and development.
- Strong C programming experience in an embedded environment.
- In-depth experience with microcontroller peripherals.
- Familiarity with Jenkins and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience with MPLAB or Harmony and ARM toolchains is preferred.
- Capacitive-touch experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of CMSIS, ISO26262, and Class-B standards is highly preferred.
- Automation framework experience is highly preferred.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently are required.
