Responsibilities

  • Develop C and Assembly applications for 8- and 32-bit microcontrollers.
  • Design and code firmware and contribute to firmware architecture and firmware-hardware co-development.
  • Work with DMA, ADC, I2C, and SPI microcontroller peripherals.
  • Lead development efforts for assigned project modules and deliver against committed timelines.
  • Collaborate with multisite, cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders to solve problems.
  • Contribute as an individual contributor while leading a team or project as needed.
  • Follow design and development standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Support unit testing, integration testing, and frontend test automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering; a master’s degree is also accepted.
  • At least 2–3 years of relevant industry experience in firmware design and development, with the broader description indicating 2 to 7+ years in the embedded domain.
  • Strong C programming experience in an embedded environment and experience developing Assembly applications.
  • In-depth experience with microcontroller peripherals and firmware-hardware co-development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and basic CI/CD concepts.
  • Knowledge or experience with MPLAB, Harmony, and ARM toolchains is preferred.
  • Experience with capacitive touch, CMSIS, ISO26262, Class-B, automation frameworks, and testing is preferred.
