Responsibilities
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and Platform as Code using Terraform, Saltstack, and Ansible.
- Build and deploy observability platforms and solutions using Dynatrace, Datadog, and Splunk across Azure, GCP, and private cloud platforms.
- Write scalable Python code, Java, .NET, or NodeJS applications, and shell scripts.
- Use Kubernetes and DevOps pipelines to deploy infrastructure and cloud services.
- Provide technical and consulting support to project teams and act as a subject matter expert.
- Develop self-service infrastructure provisioning, delivery pipelines, logging, and monitoring services.
- Troubleshoot operational issues involving infrastructure and software and resolve issues spanning multiple systems or departments.
- Analyze business and technology challenges and recommend appropriate IT solutions while supporting application stability.
Requirements
- A four-year degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of related experience as a Cloud Engineer with sound knowledge of Azure services.
- Experience applying DevOps practices to Infrastructure as Code or Platform as Code using Saltstack, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Fluency writing effective and scalable Python code.
- Experience with Java, .NET, or NodeJS.
- Expertise in Kubernetes containerization and ability to write shell scripts.
- System-level architecture experience with Linux or Windows, or prior system engineering or administration experience.
- Strong background in system design, development, architecture, and application deployment.
- Ability to analyze business problems, troubleshoot infrastructure and software issues, and work across systems.
- Experience with Enterprise Delivery Pipeline and CADP practices, self-service provisioning, delivery pipelines, logging, and monitoring services is preferred.
- Experience with VMware private cloud and Azure or GCP public cloud platforms is preferred.
- Azure or GCP cloud certification is preferred.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, collaboration, technical acumen, and attention to detail.

- Base salary range of $81,600-$115,200 CAD per year.
