Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain orchestration code using Python, Google Cloud SDK, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
- Build and test platform features and self-service automation for Google BigQuery across Google Cloud and Azure.
- Design automated tests validating security policies, business features, and integrations across cloud platforms.
- Develop and consume APIs, SDKs, and webhooks integrating cloud platforms with enterprise and DevOps systems.
- Manage cloud security controls including IAM, identity providers, PKI, encryption, secrets, and VPC Service Controls.
- Troubleshoot cloud networking, DNS, connectivity, routing, firewall rules, network security groups, and load balancing.
- Ensure cloud solutions comply with internal security, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain a backlog of platform features and enhancements with business developers and internal teams.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience developing IaC orchestration code using Python SDKs, Terraform, and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Runners.
- At least 1 year of experience writing automated test cases for security policies and business features across cloud platforms.
- Experience with cloud IAM, including Google Cloud IAM and integration with Active Directory or PingFederate.
- Experience with public cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud and Azure, preferably delivering enterprise solutions in financial services.
- Knowledge of cloud security, data protection, authentication, IAM/RBAC, network security, PKI, and certificate management.
- Ability to troubleshoot cloud networking concepts across Azure and Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with native cloud CLIs and SDKs, including Azure CLI and gcloud CLI.
- Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile Scrum teams.
- Strong critical-thinking, analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and provide effective leadership.
