Base Salary
$167k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, resilient, scalable, and high-quality conversational search experiences using React, Java, AWS, Sierra AI, and related tools.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications and backend systems.
- Balance infrastructure investments with pragmatic solutions to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to define, design, and lead significant multi-person projects.
- Mentor and guide engineers, provide technical leadership, and advocate for best practices.
- Evaluate new AI tools, models, and frameworks, including LLM and agent-development technologies.
- Participate in an on-call rotation when applicable, potentially including nights and weekends, to support production systems and service reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, specifically with React and Java.
- Experience with modern frontend technologies including React and TypeScript.
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications.
- Interest or experience in LLMs, agent development, conversational UX, and emerging AI technologies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, leadership, mentoring, and customer-empathy skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle ambiguity.
