Senior AI/ML Engineer – Service Assurance

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end AI/ML model development for anomaly detection, event correlation, root cause analysis, and capacity or traffic forecasting.
- Build and industrialize agentic AI capabilities such as LLM-based triage copilots, telemetry and topology reasoning agents, and natural-language observability interfaces.
- Explore service and network data, perform feature engineering, train and evaluate models, and deploy production-grade solutions.
- Engineer pipelines that ingest, transform, and prepare high-volume metrics, logs, alarms, tickets, and topology data.
- Implement model versioning, automated testing, ML CI/CD, and continuous monitoring for data and model drift.
- Expose AI/ML and agentic capabilities as documented, reusable components integrated with dashboards, alerts, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate with AI leads and service-assurance stakeholders to define high-impact use cases and communicate business impact and trade-offs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software and/or ML engineering experience, including at least 3 years building and deploying production AI/ML models.
- Strong Python proficiency and experience with data science and machine-learning libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with at least one distributed data-processing framework such as Spark or Flink.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tooling and practices, including model versioning, deployment, and drift monitoring.
- Solid knowledge of machine-learning algorithms for anomaly detection, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Experience exploring logs, metrics, events, and topology data, assessing data quality, and deriving features.
- Understanding of agentic AI concepts including LLM-based agents, tool-calling, and reasoning.
- Familiarity with observability platforms such as Splunk, ELK, or Prometheus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred qualifications include Splunk or equivalent observability experience in telecom or IT operations and exposure to service assurance or network operations concepts such as alarms, incidents, SLAs, topology, and OSS/BSS.
