Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, forms, workflows, and user interfaces.
- Build and support company-specific applications, functions, and workflows.
- Develop and optimize business rules, client scripts, and server-side scripts using JavaScript and GlideScript.
- Integrate ServiceNow with custom import solutions, external data sources, and other enterprise systems.
- Mature and maintain the corporate-wide Configuration Management Database and data integrity.
- Maintain and improve the service catalog, service offerings, request forms, and associated workflows.
- Support ServiceNow platform upgrades, instance health, security monitoring, access controls, role management, and auditing.
- Collaborate with developers, system administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document configurations, customizations, and development work.
- Stay current with ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3-5 years of proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Broad hands-on ServiceNow experience including custom application development, Flow Designer, integrations, and scripting.
- Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow backend technologies including GlideRecord, scripted REST APIs, business rules, script includes, and server-side scripting.
- Experience with ServiceNow frontend methodologies including Employee Center, Workspaces, Mobile, and UI Builder.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and REST API.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, including generative AI.
- Solid understanding of ITIL concepts and principles.
- Preferred experience maturing CMDBs, integrating custom import solutions and external data sources, administering ServiceNow platforms, and supporting upgrades, instance health, and security monitoring.
- Preferred experience or certifications in Customer Service Management, Hardware Asset Management, Source-to-Pay, Workplace Service Delivery, or Platform Analytics.
- Preferred experience with ServiceNow AI products and integrations such as Now Assist, Build Agent, third-party AI tools, and MCP servers.
