Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, SAS, Bash, or PowerShell for data processing, reporting, and workflow optimization.
- Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions across Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Design and maintain scalable backend services with Java Spring Boot and Node.js.
- Build responsive frontend interfaces using React.js, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and JSON-based integrations.
- Implement unit, integration, and acceptance testing, including test-driven development practices.
- Refactor code, participate in code reviews, and manage source code with Git.
- Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Gradle and containerized applications with Kubernetes.
- Apply web and API security best practices.
- Partner with business analysts, front office, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Collaborate with cloud infrastructure teams to deploy and manage applications using Apigee, AWS, and Azure.
- Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of hands-on software development experience; the posting also lists 2 or more years as preferred experience.
- Strong proficiency with Python, SAS, Bash, PowerShell, or Perl for automation, data processing, and analytics.
- Advanced SQL skills across Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Proficiency with Java and JavaScript, including Java Spring Boot for enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of React.js, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript libraries or frameworks.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and SOAP/REST API integration with JSON data.
- Hands-on experience with test-driven development, Git, Jenkins, Gradle, and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with IntelliJ IDE and Postman and understanding of web and API security principles.
- Exposure to Apigee, AWS, Azure, Agile/Scrum, and SDLC practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Nice-to-have experience includes eFront, Aladdin, Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, alternative investments, ETL, data integration, R, VBA, Groovy, AI, generative AI, or information agent concepts.
