Responsibilities

Design and implement AI-assisted IDE and developer tooling capabilities.
Integrate agent-based systems for code reviews, unit test generation, code quality analysis, and other repetitive development tasks.
Experiment with autonomous and semi-autonomous agents for software development workflows.
Integrate new tools into existing development platforms and pipelines.
Collaborate with customers and teammates to gather feedback and iterate on solutions.
Measure and document the effectiveness of tooling improvements.

Maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
Have 12 years of experience with a technical bachelor’s degree, or 16 additional years of experience in place of a degree.
Demonstrate strong software engineering skills in one or more modern programming languages, including proficiency in Python and Java.
Have experience with IDEs, developer tools, or build and test systems.
Have hands-on experience with AI- or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents.
Be able to prototype, evaluate, and refine experimental tooling.
Understand software development workflows and best practices.
Preferred qualifications include experience with automated code review or static analysis tools, agentic AI frameworks, developer platforms, CI/CD and DevOps practices, and VS Code extension development using TypeScript and Electron.
