Responsibilities
- Solve real business needs at large scale using software engineering and analytical skills.
- Design, develop, and support a highly-parallel and fault-tolerant database system.
- Implement core infrastructure features including APIs and DDL transactions.
- Analyze performance and scalability bottlenecks and resolve them.
- Ensure operational readiness of services and meet customer commitments.
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience in designing and supporting large scale systems.
- Strong fundamentals in computer science, including data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in systems programming, particularly in Java or similar languages.
- Experience in identifying and implementing creative solutions for customer problems.
- Knowledge of database internals is a plus.
- BS in Computer Science; Masters or PhD preferred.
