Responsibilities
- Participate as an SAP integration subject matter expert and architect in professional services engagements, including SAP integration, automation, and migrations to Workato.
- Work on customized customer onboarding, statements of work, and other customer-facing activities.
- Demonstrate Workato’s business automation capabilities and act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners.
- Lead business requirements sessions and develop architectural designs for customer integrations and automations.
- Conduct recipe reviews and advise on unit, integration, and user acceptance testing best practices.
- Conduct production readiness assessments and advise on production deployment procedures.
- Perform post-live deployment health checks and guide recipe and process optimization.
- Provide knowledge transfer to customer and partner teams and apply Workato’s GEARS and Embedded Product Guide frameworks.
- Contribute to the global SAP practice through community content, reference demos, presentations, white papers, best practices, architecture patterns, and online courses.
- Embed with customer organizations to understand business processes and recommend improvements through automation, orchestration, and Workato platform features.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of technology transformation consulting experience, including implementation with integration, middleware, or API management solutions.
- End-to-end solution architecture and implementation experience with SAP PI/PO and SAP Integration Suite.
- Knowledge of SAP BC, SAP AIF, SAP iRPA, and SAP BTP services is beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of SAP interfacing technologies, configuration, and troubleshooting, including IDoc, RFC, OData, and SOAP WebServices.
- Familiarity with SAP architecture, Clean Core, ISA-M, and related methodologies and frameworks.
- Proven experience leading or overseeing customer or partner success across solution architecture, enterprise architecture, development, testing and release management, change management, and solution design.
- Deep understanding of security and governance needs for large corporations.
- Fluent written and spoken business English.
- Experience as an enterprise or digital architect, preferably in consulting engagements, is preferred.
- A master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is preferred.
- Knowledge of Salesforce, Netsuite, Workday, ServiceNow, EBusiness Suite, and databases is preferred.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Ruby, ABAP, Java, Groovy, and JavaScript is preferred.
- SAP or other relevant certifications, global startup experience, and German language skills at B1 or higher are preferred.
