Responsibilities
- Lead technical pre-sales activities, including discovery sessions, technical demonstrations, pilots, and proof-of-concepts for large and strategic fleet opportunities.
- Assess prospect business challenges and define Geotab solutions that meet customer needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the Geotab ecosystem while educating partners, channel teams, and end-users.
- Develop segment knowledge, playbooks, knowledge bases, training sessions, and standardized demonstration or implementation methods.
- Partner with Business Development, Product Management, account teams, channel teams, third-party integrators, and customers to support growth and successful delivery.
- Lead strategic projects through implementation, deployment, transition, and customer success.
- Document and report opportunities and projects using JIRA and Salesforce.
- Mentor and support Solutions Engineers and other team members.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in a relevant technical field such as Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Engineering Support, Software Development, Automotive Engineering, Data Science, Technical Account Management, or Business Development.
- Business acumen and experience driving revenue through prospect and pre-sales engagements.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences and create training for varied technical backgrounds.
- Experience collaborating with sales, product development, customer support, partners, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with sales or business development and identifying potential opportunities.
- Proven success in customer engagements, project management, team collaboration, mentoring, and technical subject-matter expertise.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
