Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify cloud-native application architecture opportunities, understand customer objections, and develop strategies to achieve technical wins.
- Educate startups and scaleups on Google Cloud’s value proposition and lead architecture discussions for successful GCP adoption.
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute technical sales strategies that exceed revenue objectives through GCP adoption.
- Build relationships with executive technical stakeholders and customers to develop cloud advocates.
- Develop cloud solutions, architectures, proofs of concept, and technical responses while troubleshooting customer roadblocks.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events and act as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Six years of experience with architectural design patterns, platform engineering, virtualization deployments, container deployments, application security, or networking.
- Experience working with and presenting to technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Preferred experience with the startup ecosystem and technical sales or consulting in cloud computing, application development, and cloud-native architectures.
- Preferred experience assessing and building cloud-native architectures involving application runtimes, databases, serverless environments, containers, Kubernetes stacks, and event-driven designs.
- Preferred expertise developing AI applications, including integrations through APIs or MCP, agent integrations using the Agent Development Kit or Agent2Agent Protocol, or deployment of AI-enabled applications.

- Germany base pay is €112000–€114000 EUR, with a 42.86% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
- Benefits are provided through Google’s benefits program.
- Travel to customer sites, conferences, and related events is required as needed.
