Responsibilities
- Build and scale core backend services for the Observability Platform.
- Develop high-volume telemetry ingestion systems.
- Work on distributed storage, query engines, and alerting pipelines.
- Create new ways to help engineers understand and troubleshoot operational data, including AI-assisted troubleshooting.
- Support observability across developer tooling, Kubernetes, managed services, databases, networking, and customer workloads.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Golang or willingness to quickly switch to it.
- Experience building distributed backend systems.
- Solid understanding of software reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Teamwork-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
- Observability platform, telemetry system, or related open-source experience is a bonus.
- Production experience with ClickHouse is a bonus.
