Responsibilities
- Estimate and execute delivery tasks across design, development, testing, deployment, configuration, and documentation.
- Automate software build, operation, and runtime processes.
- Participate in code, design, and process trade-off discussions.
- Integrate services with a focus on customer journey and experience.
- Support demos and acceptance discussions with product owners.
- Improve operational and engineering experience, metrics, technology adoption, coding, testing, and automation practices.
- Develop understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and system dependencies.
Requirements
- Beginner-to-intermediate software architecture, cloud platform, and software development skills.
- Beginner automation, DevOps, container deployment, and Kubernetes skills, with AWS preferred.
- Ability to write secure code in a common language such as C, Golang, Python, Terraform, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with OWASP, CWE, or SEI CERT secure coding standards and beginner-to-intermediate CVE management skills.
- Understanding of Windows and Linux operating system internals for interoperable and performant code.
- Understanding of standard branching and peer review practices, such as Gitflow.
- Ability or willingness to work on cross-functional, globally distributed, and large-scale projects.
- Beginner innovation and thought leadership skills.
