Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable machine learning models and workloads on Databricks and cloud ML platforms.
- Prepare ML models and scoring processes and support the ML portion of the Databricks go-to-market strategy.
- Publish microservices and APIs to distribute ML predictions and recommendations.
- Automate, monitor, and create alerts for ML model engineering workflows.
- Tune performance and optimize machine learning models.
- Evaluate emerging ML platforms and technologies and recommend system improvements.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to follow architecture, design, deployment, and compliance processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience as an AI/ML Engineer.
- Experience with machine learning, data engineering, ML infrastructure, probability, statistics, and machine learning fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Unity Catalog, and cloud ML platforms such as Azure ML Studio, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end ML systems, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data workflows using Python, NumPy, Pandas, and SQL.
- Experience building scalable APIs and microservices using FastAPI and working with Snowflake or equivalent data warehouse technologies.
- Experience deploying production workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, teamwork, independent-work, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
