Responsibilities
- Plan, write, execute, and maintain test specifications, test designs, test scripts, and test suites.
- Perform first-level diagnostics, identify defects against the correct components, and support issue resolution.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, automation, load, performance, accessibility, security, and usability testing.
- Support release validation, production pushes, application lifecycle management, continuous delivery, and platform governance.
- Produce test accuracy, quality, error, and business KPI reports.
- Assess quality risks and recommend mitigation approaches.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, solution architects, developers, citizen developers, and business stakeholders.
- Improve QA processes and promote quality-first practices across the solution lifecycle.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience testing Microsoft Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, and Copilot Studio or conversational AI solutions.
- Strong experience with test planning, test case creation, test execution, defect management, regression testing, release validation, and test reporting for enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis, risk assessment, and communication of test outcomes.
- Experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Dataverse, Power Pages, Custom Connectors, and Copilot Studio is desirable.
- Experience validating AI-powered solutions, including response quality, grounding, responsible AI principles, prompt behavior, and conversational experiences is desirable.
- Experience with automated testing, performance testing, accessibility testing, security testing, and usability testing is desirable.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, test management tools, deployment pipelines, release automation, and continuous delivery is desirable.
- Understanding of Centre of Excellence practices, governance frameworks, environment strategies, DLP policies, and ALM is desirable.
- Experience testing integrations with ServiceNow, Jira, Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, or Microsoft Graph is desirable.
- Knowledge of role-based access controls, data protection, governance, compliance requirements, and secure platform delivery is desirable.
- Microsoft Power Platform and/or Microsoft AI certifications are desirable.
