Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features for applications and systems with international development teams.
- Develop robust, highly available microservices using Java 17+ with Spring Boot or Quarkus.
- Develop full-stack functionality using JavaScript, Node.js, Angular, and related technologies.
- Write quality code, participate in code reviews, and create unit tests covering robustness and edge cases.
- Design and build CI/CD pipelines and contribute to cloud-based application delivery.
- Apply coding standards, security mechanisms, authentication and authorization practices, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA teams, and cross-functional colleagues in an agile environment.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to junior developers.
- Participate in developer guilds and knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional enterprise software development experience.
- Practical experience with a variety of full-stack technology stacks.
- Experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot or Quarkus, with Quarkus considered a plus.
- Full-stack experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and Angular; RxJS is a plus.
- Experience with Git, JIRA, Artifactory, and GitHub Automation.
- Experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure; GCP experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect, and TLS/SSL authentication and authorization protocols.
- Very good knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Knowledge of JAX-RS, the Java API for RESTful Web Services.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to collaborate in a global multicultural environment across different time zones.
- Knowledge of agile values, principles, and methods.
