Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously enhance an AI-enabled, multichannel Genesys contact center platform.
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and integrations between the contact center platform and banking systems.
- Improve SIP/VoIP, routing, omnichannel, scalability, high-availability, security, and integration architectures.
- Ensure code quality, CI/CD, automated testing, and stable deployments.
- Manage implementations from design and development through testing and go-live.
- Provide third-level support for critical production incidents.
- Coordinate with product owners, architecture and operations teams, external providers, and implementation partners.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and participate in architecture and technical decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements and drive ongoing platform innovation.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with contact center solutions, ideally Genesys, and with SIP, VoIP, routing, and omnichannel platforms.
- Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, including mandatory JAX-RS / Java API for RESTful Web Services.
- Experience with API design, system integration, and Oracle database technologies.
- Practical experience with Unix/Linux systems and web servers such as Apache and Tomcat.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, networking, TLS, encryption, high availability, and scaling architectures.
- Strong ownership, communication, stakeholder-management, quality, stability, and delivery skills.
- Experience with AI-enabled cloud contact center solutions, regulated environments or banking, GCP, observability, monitoring, or KPI management is preferred.
