Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
- Build, publish, version, manage, deprecate, and retire APIs in alignment with OpenAPI specifications.
- Implement API security policies covering OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, authentication, authorization, data protection, and traffic controls.
- Configure and manage API infrastructure across private cloud, public cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
- Develop responsive frontend interfaces integrated with API-driven backend services.
- Analyze API usage, performance, and service quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Use Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and automate repetitive engineering work.
- Design agentic communication workflows using Model Context Protocol to support context-aware agent interactions.
- Partner with stakeholders, product teams, and external clients to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and engineering automation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements related to API governance and application security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- 8 to 13 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java 8 or higher and frontend UI technologies.
- Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, WebSocket, MCP, and A2A.
- Experience with Oracle databases, Azure APIM, API Gateway, and cloud platform integrations.
- Knowledge of Git, version control, API management, API security, API analytics, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Experience with full-stack application development, microservices architecture, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and engineering automation.
- Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic workflow design using MCP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-demand, client-facing environment and across cross-functional teams.
- Curiosity and adaptability regarding evolving AI tooling and agentic development practices.
