Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable full-stack applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.
Build, publish, version, manage, deprecate, and retire APIs in alignment with OpenAPI specifications.
Implement API security policies covering OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, authentication, authorization, data protection, and traffic controls.
Configure and manage API infrastructure across private cloud, public cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
Develop responsive frontend interfaces integrated with API-driven backend services.
Analyze API usage, performance, and service quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Use Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development and automate repetitive engineering work.
Design agentic communication workflows using Model Context Protocol to support context-aware agent interactions.
Partner with stakeholders, product teams, and external clients to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions.
Support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and engineering automation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements related to API governance and application security.

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
8 to 13 years of software development experience.
Proficiency in Java 8 or higher and frontend UI technologies.
Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Python.
Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, WebSocket, MCP, and A2A.
Experience with Oracle databases, Azure APIM, API Gateway, and cloud platform integrations.
Knowledge of Git, version control, API management, API security, API analytics, monitoring, and performance optimization.
Experience with full-stack application development, microservices architecture, CI/CD, DevOps practices, and engineering automation.
Experience with AI-assisted development and agentic workflow design using MCP.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a high-demand, client-facing environment and across cross-functional teams.
Curiosity and adaptability regarding evolving AI tooling and agentic development practices.

The role is located in Pune.
The position involves a client-facing work environment and collaboration with stakeholders, product teams, external clients, and cross-functional teams.
