Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of complex software systems and features.
Write, review, and maintain clean, efficient, scalable code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Conduct code reviews and resolve complex technical issues.
Contribute to architecture, scalability, maintainability, performance, and fault-tolerance decisions.
Develop and integrate Azure services for regulated federal environments.
Work with distributed systems, databases, containers, infrastructure as code, observability, and LLM-based agents.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
U.S. citizenship is required to support FedRAMP-compliant environments.
At least 7 years of experience writing Java code for backend development.
At least 2 years of experience with one or more of React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
At least 2 years of experience developing and integrating Azure services.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including examples such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, and C#.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, databases, caching, API design, observability, and production debugging.
Experience with Linux commands and LLM agents, including context management, RAG, tool selection, and graph workflows.
Strong system design, problem-solving, communication, debugging, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
