Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex software systems and features.
- Write, review, and maintain clean, efficient, scalable code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
- Conduct code reviews and resolve complex technical issues.
- Contribute to architecture, scalability, maintainability, performance, and fault-tolerance decisions.
- Develop and integrate Azure services for regulated federal environments.
- Work with distributed systems, databases, containers, infrastructure as code, observability, and LLM-based agents.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- U.S. citizenship is required to support FedRAMP-compliant environments.
- At least 7 years of experience writing Java code for backend development.
- At least 2 years of experience with one or more of React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- At least 2 years of experience developing and integrating Azure services.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including examples such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, and C#.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, databases, caching, API design, observability, and production debugging.
- Experience with Linux commands and LLM agents, including context management, RAG, tool selection, and graph workflows.
- Strong system design, problem-solving, communication, debugging, technical leadership, and mentoring skills.
