Responsibilities
- Lead moderately complex and large-scale software engineering initiatives, projects, and deliverables.
- Design, code, test, debug, document, upgrade, and deploy technology solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend AI frameworks including Google ADK, AutoGen, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and Crew AI.
- Develop ETL pipelines involving data transformation, validation, and orchestration.
- Support observability, deployment pipelines, automated testing, and cloud-based technology solutions.
- Design databases and contribute to architectural decisions for reliable, secure, and scalable systems.
- Review complex technical challenges and solutions, resolve issues, and act as an escalation point.
- Lead teams, mentor less experienced staff, manage stakeholders, and collaborate with technical experts and external industry groups.
- Develop engineering standards and companywide best practices for complex technology solutions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience with Python, GenAI, SQL, database design, ETL pipeline development, observability, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with Splunk, Grafana, deployment pipelines, and automated testing.
- Ability to evaluate complex technology solutions and make architectural and strategic engineering decisions.
- Ability to lead technology initiatives, teams, projects, and peer mentoring activities.
- Strong stakeholder management, team management, collaboration, and communication skills.
