Responsibilities
- Design scalable microservices and backend applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL, SQL, PL/SQL, and MySQL data models, queries, stored procedures, and routines.
- Build responsive React Native interfaces and JavaScript logic for complex front-end workflows and data visualizations.
- Design and implement Kafka-based event-streaming pipelines for reliable near-real-time processing.
- Deploy and operate services on AWS with attention to security, cost efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor peers, troubleshoot production issues, and improve engineering standards.
- Document system designs, APIs, operational runbooks, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product stakeholders, and business stakeholders in a hybrid work model.
Requirements
- At least nine years of experience with Core Java, Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Advanced expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, and PL/SQL or MySQL, including schema design, query tuning, and migrations.
- Proven experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Strong React Native, advanced JavaScript, and JavaScript skills.
- Hands-on AWS experience configuring environments and managing deployments.
- Understanding of version control, continuous integration, code review, test automation, observability, and software engineering practices.
- Experience collaborating in hybrid delivery models across locations and time zones.
