Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application, infrastructure, and platform workloads using Azure DevOps Pipelines.
- Administer Azure Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts, Boards, and service connections.
- Improve build, release, and deployment workflows for microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Implement observability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and related monitoring tools.
- Integrate secrets management, policy enforcement, vulnerability scanning, and least-privilege access controls.
- Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes, Helm, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Drive incident response, root cause analysis, SLO practices, and automated remediation.
- Create reusable templates, modules, and platform patterns that improve developer productivity.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on Azure architecture, deployment automation, release governance, and DevSecOps.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering roles supporting modern software delivery.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure compute, networking, identity, storage, monitoring, and security services.
- Strong experience designing Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for multiple application stacks and deployment patterns.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or equivalent automation frameworks.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably including Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting and automation languages.
- Understanding of source control workflows, package management, artifact promotion, and release strategies.
- Experience implementing observability, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards for production systems.
- Understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, compliance controls, and secure software delivery.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
- Experience with GitHub, SonarQube, Nexus Repository, or software supply chain security tooling is preferred.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments, AWS or on-premises migrations to Azure, policy-as-code, platform engineering, developer portals, or internal developer platforms is preferred.
- Experience supporting regulated or enterprise-scale environments with strong governance requirements is preferred.
