Responsibilities
- Own feature areas end to end, from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring.
- Design, build, and ship secure, scalable, reliable, performant, and maintainable features across the OIG system.
- Deliver bug fixes and address customer-reported issues.
- Write well-tested production code and uphold high engineering-quality standards.
- Partner with Product Development, QA, and Site Reliability Engineering teams on development and deployment work.
- Architect and evolve product features serving access-governance personas and enterprise customers at scale.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with the ability to independently own and deliver complex production features.
- Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering large-scale distributed systems for enterprise customers.
- Deep expertise in microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and data modeling at scale.
- Strong proficiency in one or more of Java, Kotlin, Go, or equivalent JVM/cloud-native languages.
- Ability to influence technical alignment across teams and stakeholders without formal authority.
- Experience designing systems that meet enterprise reliability, scalability, and security requirements, including multi-tenancy, high availability, audit logging, and RBAC/ABAC.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with identity, access management, governance, or IGA products; workflow engines or approval/routing systems; enterprise SaaS platforms; cloud infrastructure; and modern observability tooling.
