Responsibilities
- Build scalable backend systems and components while balancing stability, performance, and maintainability.
- Design, implement, test, and deploy production-ready features with high correctness and low-latency requirements.
- Partner with frontend and data teams to refine APIs used by millions of customers.
- Mentor junior developers and technically lead complex projects across teams.
- Identify and implement improvements to system performance and team workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 3 years designing and building large-scale, distributed, low-latency systems.
- Proficiency in highly concurrent backend system development and intuitive API design.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver long-term impact on systems or team-wide architecture.
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and mentor peers.
