Base Salary
$125k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop automation to deploy and manage on-premise Kubernetes clusters.
- Deploy and manage core infrastructure such as databases, monitoring, and distributed storage.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to create scalable and maintainable products.
- Engage in and improve the lifecycle of services from inception to refinement.
- Monitor and alert systems to ensure high availability.
- Integrate and troubleshoot across the entire Starshield stack.
- Identify areas for improvement and create innovative solutions for high system availability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems/IT, or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years of professional experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps.
- 1+ years of experience with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other infrastructure tools.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
- Scripting experience in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Development experience in Python, C++, or Go.
