Responsibilities

Architect and build ingestion, normalization, and analytics components for multi-cloud billing data.
Deliver backend services and modern UI experiences for FinOps users.
Lead architecture reviews and establish practices for reliability, scalability, security, observability, and cost efficiency.
Develop unified cost models, allocation capabilities, semantic layers, and high-performance analytics workflows.
Partner with FinOps Reporting and Analytics, Product, and Cloud Engineering on roadmap and data correctness.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, design guidance, and technical standards.
Support production readiness through data quality controls, lineage, retries, alerting, SLOs, and operational practices.

Experience developing production ingestion pipelines for TB-scale or high-frequency datasets with quality controls and SLAs.
Experience building multi-tenant or multi-account analytics platforms with consistent schemas and performance constraints.
Experience with cost and usage analytics or related domains such as telemetry, observability, billing, metering, FinOps, or data platforms.
Experience shipping full-stack features consisting of APIs and user interfaces used in daily workflows.
Experience leading architecture decisions and influencing engineering standards across a team.
Experience with CUR or cloud billing exports, commitment models, allocation, tagging or labels, and reconciliation is preferred.
Strong systems thinking, data correctness, product engineering, pragmatic architecture, and influence and mentorship skills.
Experience with Python, TypeScript, backend services, data processing, warehouses or lakehouses, and cloud infrastructure.
