Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy big-data anti-fraud detection solutions and machine learning models using Python and PySpark.
- Build agentic AI and data engineering solutions using BigQuery, big-data technologies, and Google Cloud capabilities.
- Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements, refine stories, design solutions, implement features, test software, and support production systems.
- Write clean, maintainable server-side code and continuously refactor and improve it.
- Define and evolve the architecture of assigned components and ensure production reliability and maintainability.
- Help develop, test, and release software through highly automated continuous delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with product owners, analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure the right solutions are delivered.
- Support business strategy, team learning, continuous improvement, and responsible use of data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Spark, Spark SQL, PySpark, DataFrames, Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, YARN, and distributed computing.
- 5–7+ years of experience with Python, PySpark, Pandas, NumPy, data mining, and Scikit-learn or machine learning.
- 7+ years of experience with SQL, Oracle, Hive, Impala, and query or processing optimization.
- 3–5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform, cloud data processing, and scalable data solutions.
- 2–3+ years of exposure to AI, GenAI, and agentic AI, including LLMs, AI agents, RAG, tool or function calling, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, evaluation, and guardrails.
- 5+ years of experience with Linux or Unix, Shell, Git, Bitbucket, CI/CD, and Control-M.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile or Scrum, Jira, Confluence, solution ownership, technical leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and solve business problems while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
- Ability to collaborate across development, product, analysis, testing, and stakeholder teams and contribute to a high-performance culture.
