Base Salary
$191k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain highly available, low-latency ML inference infrastructure for predictive models and LLMs.
- Build and optimize streaming pipelines that provide fresh feature data to production ML models.
- Improve distributed training infrastructure for processing large data volumes efficiently.
- Develop observability tooling for monitoring data quality and detecting model-performance degradation.
- Mentor junior engineers and raise engineering standards through technical leadership, code reviews, and design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of industry experience as a software engineer.
- Demonstrated ownership of distributed systems in production environments.
- Experience building and operating low-latency data or ML infrastructure, such as streaming pipelines, online serving systems, or distributed training.
- Experience mentoring engineers and improving engineering quality through code reviews, design reviews, and technical leadership.
- Familiarity with feature stores, model serving frameworks, and training orchestration sufficient to partner with ML engineers.
- Ability to use generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and improve workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.
