Base Salary
$285k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Ship polished user experiences and own the APIs, data models, and backend services behind them.
- Develop deep product expertise and partner with Product and Design to shape roadmap and product direction.
- Drive architecture decisions, lead technical reviews, and set technical direction for the Product Engineering team.
- Align Engineering and Data Science stakeholders on priorities and tradeoffs.
- Mentor engineers, improve team processes and code quality, and raise engineering standards.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building and shipping user-facing products as a full stack engineer.
- Experience owning large, ambiguous problem spaces from concept through production.
- Production experience building user interfaces with React and TypeScript.
- Experience designing APIs, working with data models, and debugging complex backend systems.
- Ability to reason deeply about user experience, edge cases, abstractions, architecture, and maintainable engineering patterns.
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives, aligning Engineering, Product, and Design, and providing technical leadership and mentorship.
