Responsibilities
- Develop, test, maintain, and enhance Java-based applications and services.
- Support the design and implementation of solutions using AWS cloud services.
- Integrate AI solutions and AI-enabled services into applications.
- Develop APIs, perform system integration, and support application enhancements.
- Troubleshoot issues and support resolution across development, testing, and production environments.
- Contribute to cloud migration, modernization, and deployment activities.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, technical planning, and documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, senior developers, stakeholders, and team members in an agile development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Eight years of experience with a BA/BS degree or six years of experience with an MA/MS degree.
- Strong hands-on Java development experience.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-based application support.
- Experience with AI solutions, AI-enabled applications, or AI integration.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Selected candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, Terraform, AI/ML tools, generative AI, model integration, SQL, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, cloud migration, modernization, cloud security, and IAM concepts.
