Base Salary
$200k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain real-time video streaming and telemetry services.
- Build infrastructure for advanced autonomous drones.
- Tackle performance and scalability challenges in distributed systems.
- Optimize performance over constrained network connections.
- Shape the evolution of Skydio's real-time frameworks.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and running complex distributed systems.
- Experience with distributed messaging systems like Apache Pulsar or Kafka.
- Prior experience implementing continuous deployment for stateful systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills across connectivity and backend services.
- FAA Part 107 certification is encouraged within the first 60 days.
