Base Salary
$130k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Master a variety of production technology stacks with your team.
- Ensure site performance, uptime, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards and runbook documentation.
- Identify technical problems and create effective solutions.
- Collaborate with application engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Propose architecture changes for improved scalability and reliability.
- Develop tooling for deployment and release processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering or site reliability experience.
- Experience with at least one object-oriented programming language like Java, C++, or C.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, Bash, or Perl.
- Experience with public cloud providers like AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of service technologies like web servers, message queues, and databases.
- Fluency in observability tools and methodologies.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems across the stack.
- Flexibility to work with various technologies and legacy systems.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
