Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the vulnerability management program with a focus on application security.
- Build and maintain security tooling that integrates into CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI to automate analyses and build intelligent tooling.
- Assess and improve telemetry usage across systems.
- Influence secure development practices by shipping tools and defaults.
- Investigate and respond to security findings as needed.
- Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in an agile environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software and/or platform engineering.
- Deep experience in application security and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally GCP/GKE.
- Demonstrated habit of using AI tools in development and analysis.
- A bias toward automation and tool creation over manual processes.
- Comfort with ambiguity and ownership of problems.
- Experience influencing engineering culture around security.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
