Responsibilities
- Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- Conduct business and technical discovery with stakeholders to identify requirements and solution strategies.
- Develop cloud-native, hybrid, and enterprise application solution architectures.
- Provide technical leadership from planning and design through deployment and support.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend tools, platforms, and methodologies.
- Support modernization involving cloud engineering, containerization, microservices, DevSecOps, and platform automation.
- Design solutions using relational and NoSQL data stores.
- Develop architecture, interface, performance, and quality assurance standards.
- Support enterprise data architecture, data governance, and metadata management strategies.
- Guide data integration, data conversion, and enterprise information architecture initiatives.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams.
- Present technical recommendations, roadmaps, and architecture strategies to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Support AI and machine learning implementation when appropriate for mission outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions.
- At least 7 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, Enterprise Architect, or in a similar senior technical leadership role.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud solutions, including AWS and familiarity with Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or other major cloud providers.
- Experience leading software development initiatives using Java, .NET, or similar enterprise technologies across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, DevSecOps, automated testing, and continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Experience designing architectures using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of enterprise integration, data architecture, and information management principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Preferred experience includes large-scale cloud migrations, Kubernetes, containerization, service mesh platforms, microservices, enterprise data architecture, metadata management, data governance, AI, machine learning, natural language processing, advanced analytics, federal programs, enterprise modernization, low-code platforms, and relevant cloud, architecture, or cybersecurity certifications.
