Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve Axle's cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls.
- Lead infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Implement and enforce HIPAA-compliant security practices.
- Manage container orchestration including image hardening and security policies.
- Build and maintain centralized logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Implement and maintain secrets management to eliminate hardcoded credentials.
- Configure and maintain network security controls across environments.
- Partner with engineering teams to enforce environment parity.
- Coordinate and support penetration testing engagements and patch management.
- Support disaster recovery planning and risk assessment processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
- Deep expertise with AWS services including IAM, VPC, and RDS.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proven track record implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes security.
- Working knowledge of HIPAA technical safeguards.
- Strong operational instincts and experience writing runbooks.
