Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build automation tools that enable internal teams to self-service deployment, detection, alerting, and mitigation in AWS environments.
- Develop and support AWS platform tooling, including IAM permissions, security policies, and cloud-native services.
- Champion and implement cloud security and operational best practices.
- Provide technical guidance to application development and DevOps teams on service design and deployments.
- Own initiatives, contribute to solution design and planning, and serve as a technical resource across teams.
- Monitor and troubleshoot inbound operational issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong Python development skills and experience writing production-quality code.
- Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, Spinnaker, and Jenkins.
- Experience with platform engineering, backend development using Python, API development, and database schema design.
- Hands-on AWS security and IAM administration, including policy creation for users and workloads.
- Familiarity with Docker, containerization, Unix/Linux systems, and operational troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications, experience supporting DevOps teams in mid-to-large organizations and multitenant environments, SSL certificate management, AWS and general networking concepts, VPC constructs, firewalling, DNS, and using AI as a productivity tool.
Benefits
- Full-time employment with a location-dependent base salary range of $141,900-$208,400 per year, excluding potential bonus and long-term incentive units.

- On-site role requiring four days per week in person at a designated office location, with locations including Santa Monica, Glendale, New York, Seattle, and San Francisco.
