Responsibilities
- Design, implement, deliver, maintain, debug, and improve software within the existing system architecture.
- Build, analyze, and optimize reliable backend services primarily in Python and Go.
- Contribute to React-based user interfaces and reusable front-end components when appropriate.
- Collaborate with product management, architects, user experience, documentation, and other engineering teams.
- Lead code reviews and use customer experience insights to prevent future problems.
- Contribute to software testing, observability, operational excellence, and the engineering culture.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience.
- A degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent training or work experience.
- Solid knowledge of Python and/or Go, or another modern programming language, with willingness to work in Python and Go.
- Experience with React or another modern front-end framework is beneficial.
- Experience with AWS and Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes systems, kubectl, and Docker containers.
- Experience designing and influencing RESTful APIs.
- Mastery of test-driven development and automated unit, functional, and integration testing.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
