Base Salary
$167k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
- Manage GitOps-based deployments with Argo CD into Kubernetes environments.
- Improve reliability, scalability, and deployment safety across environments.
- Integrate AI-powered tooling for CI/CD optimization, pull request summarization, automated review assistance, policy validation, and incident insights.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for CI/CD and deployment outages.
- Define and enforce GitHub governance practices, including branch protection, reusable workflows, permissions, and policy automation.
- Identify developer workflow bottlenecks and drive improvements to internal platform tooling.
- Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and product teams to deliver platform solutions that meet customer needs.
- Mentor engineers and promote DevOps, GitOps, and cloud-native best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- BA/BS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Experience designing highly available, reliable, and scalable systems.
- Strong experience building CI/CD systems with GitHub Actions or equivalent technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Argo CD and GitOps-based deployment models.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native architecture.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Helm.
- Experience improving developer workflows and internal platform tooling.
- Experience using AI code-generation tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
- Exposure to integrating AI and CI/CD tooling into engineering workflows is a strong plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, proactive ownership, customer focus, teamwork, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
